It happens gradually, usually starting unnoticeably with an idea or action. Soon I find myself entangled in a group of humans who think I might be useful to them. At this point they are, in no particular order, groups like Design Across Boundaries, the Green Design Research Collaborative, Westbrook Artist’s Site, the ISU Solar Decathlon, Habitat for Humanity, Biocomposite Research Group, Passivehouse Institute US, E-co Lab, ISU Honors Program, the Katrina Workshop, Design Exchange, Academic Affairs Council, Computer Advisory Group.
